Israel once thought an impossible dream and now we want more

many are obsessed with the need to find flaw

pursuing their passion to make Israel outlaw

try as they may it is a most difficult chore

As Israel transcends statistic and natural law

Swamps become green pastures and trees with fruit galore

Armies of many fall as if few

against Israels eternal power to renew

Patience paves the way to Israels redemption

As a journeys destination is not reached at its inception

The miracle that is Israel few can deny

No matter if darkness may be nigh

Israel is always within the Divine eye

Seeing Israels beauty is a choice revealed as a privilege

Made so much easier when we embrace our heritage

PASSING GIANT

Don't be afraid of any passing giant


Don't be hesitant to be more than defiant


For theirs is a size that brings no shelter


But exposes them to the destruction of helter skelter


the strength of their oppression


makes but a fleeting impression


As history is their existence


 eternity Israels  persistence


and Hashem(G-D'S)constant blessing Israel's fortuitous resilience

DISPERSED

Though you are dispersed never forget


that you are Israel even if you have not met


Though you are dispersed never forget


A lapse in memory has brought painful regret


when fickle friend enemies lured us into their net


 Torturous reminders arousing us from slumber


Letting us choose to be proudly Israel or go under


Even though you are dispersed dont hide from inevitable Israel


It is who you are whether you succeed or fail


Knowing you are Israel ,Jerusalem your only direction


So that no matter the distance you will never lose perception

FOR YOU FROM ISRAEL

Every tear that falls in Israel is for you


Every soldier fallen for you


Every terrorist attacked endured for you


Every war fought for you


Each drought suffered for you


Each financial burden experienced for you


Every tear of joy for you


Each new babies cry for you


Each breathtaking view for you


Every victory for you 


Every breakthough and achievement for you


Each new crop for you


Every joyous letter of Torah learnt for you


For  no matter where you are Israel is you


No matter the exile or level of denial Israel is you


only on Israel with all of  Israel ,people and  Torah


Will redemption finally be made true

ISRAELS BORDERS

Israels borders always under threat

Always defended without regret

they, our enemies never let up

in the vain hope that we might back up

panic ,despair  at times flares up

 with seemingly portentous discord in their wake

yet nothing will their victory make

all their progress is but fleeting and fake

Israels borders will never be forever obscured

For it is with the Lords blessing and promise they were 
procured

EACH DAY IN ISRAEL

Each day in Israel takes my breath away

humbled that Hashem(G-D) grants my stay

an honor sublime that no words can convey

for no matter my size, intellect or station

I share the day with my people as a nation

Our situation today is far from ideal

but being in Israel means it is no dream but real

even the the darkest days are of a lighter shade

On the land where our nations destiny is being made

through the centuries of pain there has been no recompense

yet with each day in Israel it all starts to make sense

MOMENTS

Let the beauty of life's moments encompass you


allow the enormous potential to uplift you


even if at present the feeling evades you


act as if each moment is a gift


then through all challenges will you sift


never letting go of each and every gift


a moment ,so precious when passes is lost


what we do with the next will determine the cost


if you choose the blindness of depression


then your only recourse will be  regression


fight for the light that will give you sight


to make the choices that shine most bright


each new moment is constant hope


an end to the need to always mope


for no matter what the history


with Divine blessing  writing a new chapter is no longer a mystery
