ISRAEL'S FATE

For Israels fate many of you fear

You worry that she may overnight disappear

extend your eye to our nations first day

we may have fallen even at times gone astray

yet no matter our enemies resolve

In G-D's eye ,past the fleeting they will never evolve

For ours is a mission Divine

A history replete with miracle and sign

that we will prevail and remain eternal

and our foes cast down , forever infernal

TAKE THE NOW

Why should happiness dissipate

just because tomorrow you might be irate

Why should peace of mind depart

because worry might soon start

Why should self esteem crumble

because tomorrow you might stumble

The power of might makes us weak

when it is that which could be that we seek

Lets take the now without limit

Give it our best and live it

and then you will never feel the pain of having missed it

DISPLAY

are people what they say

or is that all merely for display

do we go by whats on the surface come what may

some would say that the display is the only way

yet without content there would be nothing left but disarray

with understanding and care leading our expedition

let us discover and listen for the notes behind the rendition

and though the mouth be the quill of the heart

if we reach a persons heart today

you may find much more than a display

Stay strong

Even when the day is long

be open to see the Divine song

in all you see , all who come along

then banished is the need to prolong

and wallow, in all that is wrong

Israel your borders reach beyond my heart

I know that no matter where I am we are never apart

without you my day would not start

for the tapestry that connects us is a Divine art

unbreakable by man strengthened by the heart

I journey along your pathways and know that from our union light I will never depart

Only when engulfed in your warm embrace

Is clarity unhindered all seeing that Israel is my place

THE FOLLY OF THE NIGHT

Any peddler of folly can see the negative and identify the blight


their wares do not bring joy but heighten the plight 


A lamenting roller coaster from which no dispirit can alight


Yet to them I leave the winter of the night


those that see but have no sight

Oh! bearers of lanterns come even with light ever so slight

together harmoniously you banish the night

revealing the treasure that shines divinely bright

Those who despite the darkness focus on the positive will eventually bring the light

many are obsessed with the need to find flaw

pursuing their passion to make Israel outlaw

try as they may it is a most difficult chore

As Israel transcends statistic and natural law

Swamps become green pastures and trees with fruit galore

Armies of many fall as if few

against Israels eternal power to renew

Patience paves the way to Israels redemption

As a journeys destination is not reached at its inception

The miracle that is Israel few can deny

No matter if darkness may be nigh

Israel is always within the Divine eye

Seeing Israels beauty is a choice revealed as a privilege
