A majestic dimension where there is no weekday mask

A time where we reignite our eternal task

Unhindered by the facades of the rat race

Getting in tune with our Divine pace

We bask in the warmth of G-Ds hallowed light

Releasing our infinite potential harnessing G-D's glorious might

Recharging our souls while maintaining our miracle sight

Shabbat our smidgen of Heaven on earth

Our reality check full of holiness of which there is no dearth

I think about Israel

I think about Israel and all the debate

I think about those who question Israel the state

I think about those who feel they decide Israel's fate

My decision is that no one will make me irate

For every day I walk this land I remain victorious

Fulfilling prophecies ,what could be more glorious?

For every day I walk this land I validate our past

On the wings of a promise Divine I know we will always last

G-D is found

 

 

G-D is found where ever you let "HIM" in

Never abandoning you even when choices lead to sin

Loving you even when you do not love yourself

Giving you always the chance to rise

though you do not truly appreciate your size

... and your greatness you cannot begin to surmise 

Yet to utilize the sight that comes with G-D's light

Is your eternal way to appreciate the day even during the night

HOW POWERFUL YOU CAN BE

WHEN YOU LEARN TO FEEL FREE

NO MATTER WHAT YOU CHOOSE TO SEE

FREEDOM COMES TO THOSE

WHO DESPITE THE THORNS WANT TO SMELL THE ROSES

FREEDOM FINDS THOSE WHO ARE NOT FICKLE

WHOSE VALUES ARE NOT INFLUENCED BY THE DIME OR NICKEL

FREEDOM EMBRACES THOSE WHOM SOCIETY DOES NOT MOLD

AND IN THE FACE OF TEMPTATION ARE STEADFAST AND BOLD

FREEDOM IS INSISTING ON THE GODLY  ME

MY PATH TO BEING ETERNALLY FREE

TAKE A MOMENT BEFORE THE LAUNCH

WHEN YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH OUT OF TURN

ANGER BANISHES THE CHOICE TO DISCERN

THE WORDS LAUNCHED AS TRAJECTORIES WITHOUT CONCERN

FOR EGO DICTATES ANGER ME AND YOU SHALL LEARN

. WITH THE TRAJECTORY LANDED RELATIONSHIPS BURN

OH HOW WE THEN WISH WE WERE TACITURN

SO BEFORE A WORD TAKE A MOMENT AND ADJOURN

AND SAVE YOURSELF A MOST PAINFUL SOJOURN

The true beauty of Israel is not the pastures green

but that which may seem bleak but is in truth beauty unseen

Israel's true beauty is not for the naked eye

But its holiness and history that occasions a soulful sigh

The true beauty of Israel is not it's bountiful fruit and flower

But rather that with our arrival did they start to tower

The true beauty of Israel is not in political sensation

But the privilege of living here as a nation

To behold Israel's true beauty is always within sight

Commensurate with our choice to acknowledge our Divine right

Dont let hope escape

Dont let hope escape......for there is only darkness in it's wake

In hopes absence more than the strongest backs break

Hope is the prism through which your soul can shine

and testimony that with G-D you do align

Those who call hope folly

will find no true reason to be jolly

Dont let hope escape your sight

for with it goes your might

So let hope feel welcome for more than a day

Then you will stay strong and not be led astray
