Those no longer here

To those who are no longer here

Of you I might not have been aware

But be you far or near

I imagine your possible trepidation, your fear

The consuming expectation of salvation so dear

That at times tarried but did not appear

The life you lived no matter how short 
Was never bereft of Divine import

Who you were you still are

Now so much more,higher than any star

So each new day that G-d gifts me

I will hug as a miracle and be all I can be

In salute to you, I live gratefully with no illusion

Knowing each second is never a foregone conclusion

Looking Beyond

When you look beyond anger you dont forget love

When you look beyond criticizing you dont miss out on potential

When you look beyond complaining you find momentum

When you look beyond expectation you discover appreciation

When you look beyond challenges you meet hope

When you look beyond taking you find the expanse of giving

When you look beyond limitation you find growth

When you look beyond logic you find the possible impossible

When you look beyond what is dragging you down you learn when to let go

When you look beyond excuses you find action

When you look beyond judgement you find authenticity

When you look beyond being right you find kindness

When you look beyond the surface you find true depth

When you look beyond yourself you find godliness

Heaven's Door

Israel a nation on the frontlines of eternity

Every citizen a soldier no matter the label

At our core we are all willing and able

Every front has its soldier

For G-D's constant embrace makes us bolder

Whether warriors of the spirit or warriors of the Land

There is no other place to make Eternity's stand

With an historic eye, we get an inkling of a plan

That has kept us alive despite any man

By way of our love for true peace

We will vanquish those who love war

As to live in Israel united in land ,nation and Torah

Is what we are here for

Uplifting the world to a legendary life at Heaven's door

Love Yourself

To love is to connect to that within another that is in oneself

For some it is on the surface for some on the shelf

To look for that to love within ourselves is not vanity weak

If it is a journey to see in our selves which in others we wish to seek

We are all united in the tapestry of souls that transcends the corporeal

When we learn to love ourselves we are open to that which in others is much more than real

Hug

The value of a hug kisses the Divine

Transcending words even the will to opine

A hug is a comfort more than any speech or wine

For it penetrates the heart and flows forth without resign

To hug dispels discord allowing love to realign

exposing the majesty of our Divine design

A hug is emotions that are in need of a sign

that they can be expressed without verbal line

the ability to hug should never be in decline

For it brings a warm light most eager to shine

I can

My fears attack me with " stay away"

My insecurities pound me with "you dont have it in you"

My assumptions lock me in with " thats not for you"

My excuses weaken me with "here's why this is nor for me right now"

My complaints stagnate me with "but this is a problem "

My blame takes my power away with" It's their fault ,not me at all"

My faith and trust in G-D gives me wings with a resounding " I can"

Standing before G-D

My Loving Father in Heaven and all around us

The Loving Reality that hugs us daily

Though we  may at times think we do not not feel it

Due to the blinding effects of sub/conscious ingratitude

Accompanied by the numbing effect of minds closed

To that which positively might be

To the changes needed to reframe ego and learn to feel truly free

I stand before You embarrassed by the memory of unfulfilled commitments

Made but a year ago in a halo of heartfelt intention

Yet on this Day I feel trepidation and indescribable elation

That You and only You are my Judge

For when we feel we cannot forgive anymore

Your forgiveness has barely begun

You know my inner wars, the cosmic tug of war

Give me the strength this year to never forget what I fight for

Your Love prevents regret from overwhelming me

Keeping me sane to stay in the Game

To say I am sorry, seems meaningless and empty

Though it fills every inch of my soul

Enough of fleeting folly as a goal

I give my heart to You and my body in willing servitude

For You know me better than I could ever know myself

May this Year be a Year of connection to the part of You that is my soul

For despite temptation and distraction only with You could I ever feel truly whole
