Israel is the thorn that the world would remove
They have spared no money ,no effort ,no move
crossed every line as if they have something to prove
Try as they may we transcend all prediction
Even though they continue to treat us as an affliction
But our history and Torah dismiss any need for approval
And so they persist and fixate on our removal
No matter what we do we are always in their way
The day will come when they realize we are here to stay
knowing we will prevail come what may
Hearing the message we have been trying to say
Everyone everywhere has their space
Israel is ours, G-d given, our Eternal place
Where authenticity awakens from diaspora's repose
They might eventually see that the thorn was really always a rose
